The Jockeys Anne St

OUR PLACE

A 17th century tale!

The Jockeys Anne Street is one of Dundalk’s oldest bar saloons and one that continues to welcome visitors from shores near and far – celebrating over 220 years of service.  Established by the 1st Earl of Roden, Robert Jocelyn in 1799, The Jockeys has witnessed many transformations and structural changes since opening its doors to the public – around 10 years before Ludwig van Beethoven wrote his imperious fifth symphony, 1808. Today, the Jockeys operates as a pub restaurant and enjoys a reputation for quality Irish foods, delicious beers, and great Craic Agus Ceol, as we say in the land of Cuchulainn - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cú_Chulainn
